Kennedy Investments, Inc., was formed in 1988 as a successor company to Shimberg, Kennedy & Frost, Inc. David Kennedy founded the firm to develop and invest in real estate assets primarily in the Tampa Bay area, but the firm has also owned and managed assets around the state, including the Jacksonville and Orlando areas.

David has been investing in Florida real estate since 1970 and has significant experience developing and managing retail, office, multi-family and industrial properties.

Jay Kennedy and Erin Bohacek joined the firm in 2001 and 2006 respectively, bringing additional experience in real estate and investment management. The principals believe that all commercial property types can provide superior returns through sound acquisition strategy and exceptional property management.

The firm offers qualified individuals investment opportunities with preferential returns at stated rates in addition to profit participation. Our investment methodology is designed to minimize risk while creating value through cash flow and capital appreciation. Only investments with anticipated average returns greater than 10% are considered.

Kennedy Investments has managed a wide variety of commercial real estate assets and provides property management services to 3rd party commercial real estate owners in Tampa Bay. We are committed to providing the same level of attention, detail, and expertise to our clients that we give our own properties.
